Alpha Kappa Psi is the nation’s premier professional business fraternity, dedicated to developing principled and ethical leaders. The Zeta Lambda Chapter at the University of Tennessee brings that mission to life through a strong brotherhood built on growth, opportunity, and shared success.

Our members come from a wide range of majors and backgrounds, united by a common goal to grow both personally and professionally. Through our chapter, students gain real-world experience, build meaningful connections, and prepare for success beyond college.

Our Mission and Values

Our Mission is to develop a diverse global community of courageous, principled business leaders with the capability to drive positive impact throughout their journey of life.

Our Values include Brotherhood, Unity, Integrity, Knowledge, and Service.

  • Brotherhood is the foundation of our chapter. It means building genuine relationships, supporting one another, and creating a community where every member is valued. These connections extend beyond college and become lifelong friendships.

  • Unity means working together toward a common goal. We value collaboration, respect different perspectives, and create an environment where everyone can succeed together.

  • Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. We hold ourselves to high standards of honesty, accountability, and professionalism in everything we do.

  • We are committed to continuous learning and growth. Whether through professional development, academic success, or real-world experiences, we strive to better ourselves and prepare for the future.

  • Service is about giving back to the community that supports us. We take pride in making a positive impact through volunteer work, philanthropy, and helping those around us. We embody what it means to be a Volunteer.
